Hustler Founder Gives Money to New Church Developments

Hearing of the drop in the budget for New Church Developments has brought some interesting new funds to help with growing the church in the future. In a surprise move Larry Flynt, the notorious founder of Hustler magazine and freedom of speech advocate, has started a foundation to help fund new church developments in the Presbyterian Church.

“Hey, I saw that the Waltons had a foundation and were helping out so I figured we are both in the business world. Actually I know that the church might have a problem taking money from my industry, but let me assure you that all foundation money was raised outside of Hustler Inc. It comes from my investments in businesses that are not unlike Wal Mart,” Mr. Flynt contends.

The money can be applied for through the presbytery office and must accompany approval from the General Assembly for current New Church Development Funds.
